I’m going to be honest: the content of this poem was very confusing to me. However, I am getting strong free verse vibes from this poem. This style seems good paired with a poem like this because the title is all about air. Air is free flowing and can’t be constricted and maybe that is what the author is going for here. The content of the poem is also very in your face and stream of consciousness seeming which I think wouldn’t really work constricted to any strict structures that come with say, haiku or sonnet poetry. Free verse allows the author to just get everything out in one breath or thought.
