This has definitely been the most time consuming and elaborate DS106 Assignment. However, I really did enjoy doing this one. Going out on a night walk with my best friend was really nice and I’m glad I got to document it a little in this way. This is a very interesting website that I might use in the future. I like that you can add backgrounds in order to make the timeline more visually appealing. The easiest part of the assignment was taking the photos. I chose the color grey since I felt like I could have fun with it and find more grey than any other color where I was going. To take the photos, I just basically used my phone to snap basically everything grey I saw on our walk. Once I narrowed down my collection, it took me awhile to figure out how to use the timeline doc. However, the instructional video was very helpful in doing this. I had to make a few edits here and there to play around with the visuals before I came up with this end product. Again, I do really like assignments that make me get out into the field instead of just whipping something up fast on my computer.
