Starting out this DS106 assignment, I was a little nervous. Most of the pictures I was finding straight away would be really controversial if I were to give them another meaning. So I kept looking around for awhile in order to find something that wasn’t tied with tragedy. When I stumbled upon this photo of World Cup 2018 players piled up, I knew it would be perfect for this. There were so many possibilities of directions I could take this photo in. I thought back to when I was in sports and remembered that team members were often really close to each other since they have to work as a unit. To add text to the photo, I decided to keep it simple. I ‘AirDropped’ the photo to my phone so I could add my caption in a color that would pop the most before sending it back. Then when it got to back to my laptop, I had to turn it in Preview since it was now vertical. If I were to do this again, I might keep the editing on my laptop since I feel like switching between laptop and phone degraded the quality.
