What’s happening: students are getting numerous vague emails mentioning job openings in the local area. The email asks students to click links to apply/for more information. Some of them ask for personal information. It’s turned into such an issue that career services wanted to make a poster warning people about it and offering advice about dealing with these scams.

When: Over the past few months the scam emails have shifted from fake emails posing as departments on campus like health services saying ‘click here now to save your account’ or something.

Where: Une college campus email accounts are being targeted for these emails.
